“My name is Kathy and I met Karen in 2005 at a widows group. We had both recently lost our husbands suddenly. We both had children and I think our energy levels and attempt at a positive “new normal” drew us to a form a friendship. Karen is a great listener and when she shared with me that she thought about becoming a life coach, I immediately knew she’d be wonderful as a coach. She has the ability to see your point of view. She will cry with you, laugh with you and, as she does so well, listen to you. I have no doubt she will be a positive addition to any widow wondering what is next in their “new normal” journey.”

It was so interesting working with Karen and discovering the answers I was looking for. Her insightful questions helped me explore the things that were blocking my ability to move forward. With Karen’s help I not only set goals but I accomplished them – what a great feeling! Karen also debriefed my results from the Energy Leadership Index assessment. It was fascinating to see in a graphic way how my reactions to stress change my responses. After coaching with Karen I feel like I know myself better, and I’m more fully equipped to move forward and achieve my goals. Karen is encouraging, empathetic, and fun. I highly recommend giving life coaching a try with Karen!

Karen Rohner and I met in January of 2013, just weeks after my late husband passed away from cancer. She was my GriefShare leader. Since then, Karen has served as an invaluable resource, support, and friend walking with me through my journey of widowhood. She is compassionate, understanding, and honest in her discussion about grief and being a widow. Karen has served numerous widows through one on one mentorship, small group discussions, and monthly community groups. Her support is multidimensional: not focusing only on the pain and challenges, but on moving forward in joy.
