You’re probably here because you share that title with me or maybe know someone who does.  Whatever the case may be, I’m glad that you’re here!

If you are a widow, congratulations on taking this first step toward the next phase of your life.  If you’re here for a friend or loved one I commend you for caring enough to investigate helpful options.  It takes courage and great insight to admit that life is hard enough with a partner but when you’re alone life can really be a challenge.  Even if you have a partner, you may still need some direction.   That’s why I’m here.

I partner with widows who are ready to regain their lives and move to a life of fulfillment, joy, and purpose. You may be feeling lonely, forgotten, left out, or just confused about where you fit in.  If so, I’m speaking to you! Together we will find out how you, personally can overcome these feelings. I’ve been there. I know it’s possible to feel whole again.

I loved my life with my late husband Steve, and there’s no reason not to love life again…..and now I do!

Now it’s your turn.  You deserve it!

Meet Karen

Hello! My name is Karen Rohner. I was born and raised just north of Chicago in Wilmette, IL. I was married in 1988 to Steve Rohner. After 17 great years of marriage, I became widowed. Steve died suddenly on the morning of December 15th, 2004 of a disease called ARVC which is a progressive cardiac condition we were unaware he had.

Since my husband passed I dedicated my life to taking the best care I could of my kids. My kids are both in their 30's now, Kevin is married to Michelle and Kelly has successfully managed to earn her master's degree.

Over the past 13 years, I have founded and facilitated a number of young widows groups. I’ve had the privilege of partnering with an endless number of very young to older widows.  My passion is to help widows find peace within their “new normals” and to help transition them through the changes and challenges of life.

In November of 2016, I found out about this opportunity called life coaching. I fell in love with the idea and off I went. I studied for 8 months as I learned coaching skills I need to live out my dream. One by one I am encouraging and empowering widows to embrace their new normal and lead a fulfilling life.

Sign up for a complimentary session and we can talk about how I can specifically support you.
