  • What is a life coach?

    • A life coach is someone who helps you get clarity about the direction of your life.

  • What is the difference between life coaching and counseling?

    • Although both coaches and counselors offer a support system to help you gain strength and clarity to move forward.. Coaching deals with where you are now and where you want to be. Counselors are often interested in helping you deal with past trauma.

  • What are Karen's credentials?

    • I received my life coaching certification through IPEC. I've worked tirelessly to continue to develop myself to ensure as my client you are getting the most out of our time together. In addition to the schooling I received, I also have had the unfortunate experience of being widowed myself since 2004.  I've worked with hundreds of widows from all backgrounds, ages, losses, and walks of life.

  • How does life coaching work?

    • Life coaching works because it focuses on exactly what you want to achieve and helps you get there faster. Your coach will help guide you to self-identified goals and action steps for a successful future.

  • Where does coaching take place?

    • All sessions will be held via Zoom. The great thing about having coaching calls virtually is that these calls can happen anywhere at any time.

  • How long are coaching sessions?

    • Coaching sessions are scheduled for approximately 45 minutes long.

  • How long through my journey should I start?

    • I offer a discovery call for this exact reason! It's always great to discuss your goals and what you hoping to accomplish. Everyone's journey is different.

  • Will the "Widows Empowerment Program" work for me?

    • The program is designed to find hope in the midst of grief. It is a great thought-out process that has many benefits to help those who are willing to participate and to the "work" to move forward.
